Monster.com Diversity Leadership Program

Would your peers consider you outgoing, motivated and creative? Would you like to be a leading advocate about something you believe in on your campus? If you answered yes to both, then you should join Monster.com's Diversity Leadership Program (DLP) and be part of their staff team by being part of their Campus Ambassador Program.

If I wasn't going out of the country and was still an undergrad, I would have been doing this! I am actually a DLP alumni and loved every minute of this experience back in 2004. The staff was surprisingly energetic and the scholarship opportunities were beyond belief. After I finished the program, I wish they had this opportunity available while I was an undergrad at Buffalo State College.

But, if you are an undergrad student, you can be the voice of Monster DLP on your Campus. Campus Ambassadors are highly motivated, innovative Alumni students that recruit the best of the best (like you) to participate in the 2010 Monster Diversity Leadership Programs (DLP). DLP Campus Ambassadors serve as Monster’s primary marketing liaison on college campuses nationwide.

Use your talent for something you believe in. This is a great experience for anyone interested in a business-focused career; especially in sales, marketing, or public relations. This program can serve as an extension to your academic courses to sharpen your skills in these areas. Monster will even provide you with a comprehensive Success Kit along with marketing collateral to create and execute your own marketing strategies! Isn't this great?

If this is not enough, Monster rewards talent by awarding all ambassadors a Certificate of Completion at the end of the Admissions year (August, 2010). They also have awarded exceptional Ambassadors with giftcards to retail stores such as iTunes, Best Buy, or even American Express! Not to mention that Monster has served as a professional reference for past Alumnus’ participation in the DLP Campus Ambassador Program, as they apply for full-time positions or internships.

Apply today to begin your DLP Campaign. If you are interested, send an email by January 15th to DLPevent@monsterdlp.com with DLP Campus Ambassador as the subject line. Along with your email include a 100 to 150 word short essay stating:

What are 5 unique ways in which you would market the DLP on your campus?
Why do you want to be an ambassador?
At the end of the email, please list:
Your College/University (Full name & address)
The campus clubs/organizations you belong to
Your current address

You will be notified by February 1st, 2010 if you are selected. So, hurry! For more info, go to http://www.monsterdlp.com/start/.
